Her knowledge of the wide range of flooring products available on the market, combined with a real flair for colour and desire to provide a quality service to customers has seen the business thrive.
Why the name “Rivendell”?
“People always ask why Rivendell? I fell in love with Tolkien at the age of 7 and was fascinated by the worlds he created, especially Rivendell, a magical and special place that granted safety to all that entered. So when I set up my own business I wanted to give it a name that would signify what I wanted to provide to both my clients and staff.”

Rob brings 37 years of expertise to the team which he has gained in a wide range of roles within flooring retail. His friendly and warm manner with clients combined with great technical and product knowledge means he is a safe pair of hands whether dealing with an individual looking for new carpet for their home or arranging flooring for a landlord or large commercial project.

Affectionately known as “the hobbits” with their furry feet, our team of experienced fitters make light work of any job. They are all CSCS registered and fully H&S trained so you can be assured of the quality of the work they completed – they will even get the vacuum out before they leave to ensure your room is as tidy as they found it.
