Bristol Golf Club
A deer sanctuary for over 200 years, The Bristol Golf Club, which overlooks the Severn Estuary, was founded sixteen years ago in the year 2000. They are the first Bristol based club to build a Foot Golf course and have recently been awarded the High Achiever English Golf Mark accreditation for their services to developing men’s, ladies, and junior golf. In addition their Clubhouse is located within a stunning, 18th century, grade-two listed property.
How Did We Help?
After being contacted by the team at the club we were given the task to re-floor their function suite.
Holding up to 300 people at a time it was immediately clear that the flooring would not only need to look great but be extremely durable in order to withstand hundreds of events, including weddings and corporate functions, each year. In addition to durability, another key requirement was the need for easy maintenance and cleaning so that despite the impact of hundreds of dancing feet and spillages the team could easily ensure a spotless floor for the next event.
As part of our consultation service, the team headed over to the venue with a range of carpet and flooring samples in hand. The team had an a vague idea of what they wanted upon our arrival, but by providing advice and ideas about the different types of flooring available, the clients were able to reach an informed and final decision.
The Golf Club team chose a fantastic synthetic carpet that is able to stand up to the demands of a busy venue with ease. And not only does it do the job, but we think it looks great too.
Installation
When it came to the installation of the new Venue Carpet, a slight delay in the delivery of the product from the supplier could have caused the Golf Club with scheduling issues but our team prevented a problem by turning around installation within three days.
Ensuring that we were in constant communication with our client, we explained the situation and presented a solution that didn’t leave them in the lurch.
