And The Winner Of The Name The Van Competition Is…

Last month Rivendell Carpet & Flooring acquired a brand new van which has enabled us to nip around Bristol, Bath and the surrounding areas for Home Consultations and fittings alike. In the last week alone we haven’t stopped and you may have spotted the van in Windmill Hill and Subway Filton or Totterdown and Broadmead.

To mark the occasion we decided to enlist your help to come up with a brilliantly witty name for the new addition to the Rivendell team. Beside a bit of fun we gave you the opportunity to win a £50 M&S voucher for entering the winning idea. All you had to do was put on your thinking hat and get creative.

And The Winner Is….

Throughout February the entries flocked in and you had some really fantastic suggestions such as “RivenDel Boy” and “Flora”. However, there could only be one winner and after much deliberation the team came to a decision.

After sifting through entries via email, postcard and social media we decided to name our new Rivendell Van “Van Diesel”. Whilst we are looking to officially name the van, take a look at a mock-up of what the van could look like with its new number plate above.

However, there seems to be one small little problem: our winner is missing!

Before we had a chance to congratulate the winner, their Facebook comment was removed from our photo. So rather than changing Van Diesels name we are now in search for the brains behind this entry. So, if this was your winning idea, please step forward and claim your prize.
