We have said it before and we’ll say it again, but at Rivendell we truly believe in doing our bit for the planet. Whether you recycle, take shorter showers, go paperless, or help the planet in other ways every little bit counts and it’s really rather important.
At our office we exercise a strict recycling policy as well as making sure we dispose of old flooring when fitting carpets, vinyl or wooden floors in all our clients homes. We’re even members of a number of environmental organisations such as the Woodland Trust and Children’s Scrap Store.
With all of this in mind, why not go one step further and make your home eco-friendly too? This month, our MD Mandy has been sampling some very special and equally beautiful environmentally friendly carpets made from plastic bottles. Yes, that’s right recycled plastic bottles.

This month our MD Mandy got her hands on some fantastic samples of artificial grass. And we love it.
With our unreliable British weather, gardens across the nation often end up as a boggy mess or dry and yellow; neither situation is desirable. So whether you want to cheer up your own home or lay down an entire football pitch for your local team, artificial grass is an excellent solution on so many levels.
