Whilst most of us slowed down as December approached, patiently waiting for the Christmas break, there was no rest for our MD, Mandy Risso.
Just one year on from taking on the New York Marathon (and just 3 years on from putting on a pair of running shoes!), Mandy was back at it again, this time taking on the Great Ethiopian Run 2017 on the 18th November; a gruelling 10k course in high temperatures and altitude.
Through her efforts, Mandy raised just over £1,200, smashing her original target of £1,000! Find out more about the run and the causes Mandy supported through her fundraising in our latest blog post.

Christmas is here! Well, if you ask the supermarkets it is anyway; the John Lewis advert has already debuted and mince pies line the shelves.
For restaurants, hotels, B&B’s and other establishments in the hospitality and retail sectors – Christmas and New Year’s are the busiest times of the year, so it’s essential their flooring is up to the test. It’s been a busy month as ever here at Rivendell, inbetween our new vans going out on the roads and our brand new wood studio (more on that soon) – we’ve been working on some fantastic projects. Whilst we love all the work we do for our clients, providing new carpeting for the popular TV show ‘the crystal maze’ was definitely up there with one of our favourite jobs!
